MOLA’s mission is to empower Latino and Hispanic healthcare professionals to achieve success while improving health outcomes for the communities they serve. We believe that advancing careers and promoting cultural awareness go hand-in-hand with creating a more equitable healthcare system.
Our purpose is rooted in education, advocacy, and collaboration. By supporting professional growth, encouraging leadership, and improving access to quality care, MOLA helps build a more inclusive and effective healthcare environment for all.

The MOLA Education & Research Program focuses on developing educational initiatives and research opportunities that strengthen members’ academic and professional growth. Our goal is to promote understanding of the health disparities faced by Latino communities—locally, nationally, and globally.
Through workshops, conferences, and collaborative studies, MOLA provides members with tools to conduct impactful research and advance evidence-based practices. These efforts not only enhance careers but also generate knowledge that leads to healthier and more equitable communities.

The MOLA Mentorship Program is designed to guide and inspire underrepresented Latino/a students pursuing healthcare careers. This program builds a strong, supportive network that connects learners with mentors at every professional level—from undergraduate students to established healthcare leaders.
Mentorship within MOLA is team-based and focused on growth. Participants receive continuous guidance, encouragement, and access to valuable experiences that help them navigate their educational paths and professional goals in the healthcare field.
